FAQ
What do I need to place an online order?
Firstly, you will need to register an account to proceed with a purchase.
Orders placed online require a valid prescription, this can be provided via email to info@qvoptik.com.au. Non-prescription contact lenses also require a prescription, glasses do not. If you don't have a valid prescription you can book an eye test at our store (fees may apply).
Do you accept OSHC?
International students are entitled to a rebate for certain eye testing services regardless of the provider. The services covered are patient specific so if you're unsure, we can advise. Appointments covered by OSHC must be claimed back after the test fee is paid upfront.
Non English-Speaking Customers
Our optometrist can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. If you'd prefer to speak the latter, simply let the staff know on your arrival.
Do you offer Bulk Billing?
Bulk billing will be offered when possible but is not guaranteed. Eligibility will depend on when the health benefit was last claimed and the recipients age. You can check your eligibility through Medicare if unsure.
Can I get contact lenses with my glasses prescription?
No. Glasses prescriptions are not acceptable in the absence of a contact lens prescription, there are differences in the measurements as they are fundamentally different, so although they may be similar, there's other factors taken into consideration when concerning contact lenses.
Can I cancel my order?
If you need to make any cancellations or amendments to your order, please email us info@qvoptik.com.au as soon as possible and we’ll see what we can do. Products that are made to order cannot be cancelled and cannot be returned unless defective.
